YaMGate 1.6 By Dave Naylor - Frost Free Amiga BBS - Fidonet 2:250/366.0
========================= ==================== ===================
This utility evolved out of a need to send and receive Fidonet type mail
via E-Mail. It uses YAM by Marcel Beck to gate from your Fido system to
your ISP.
It also requires the following libraries :-
rexxsupport.library
rexxdossupport.library (Included)
rexxtricks.library (Included)
Installation
------------
Ensure that YaMGate and Delete are in your path. (C: Bin: etc)
Edit the example YaMGate.cfg to suit your mail links and Outbound paths
Place YaMGate.cfg in S:
Ensure rexxsupport, rexdossupport and rexxtricks libraries are in Libs:
YaMGate expects to find Yam in Yam:
Use
---
From Shell just type YaMGate, easy huh :)
YAmGate OUT will look in YaMGate.cfg for Node or point addresses and then
look for corresponding mail bundles in Mail:Outbound/
Nodes/Points must be set as NORMAL and therefore have .FLO files in Mail:Outbound/
Any mail found will be encoded and sent to the recipients EMail address via
YAM. The mail will be timestamped and given the configured Subject and
as configured in YaMGate.cfg.
History

** Version 1.0
First released :)
There is also a sister utility called FoXGate (FoXGate16.lha, on Aminet)
FoXGate is probably better for nodes and IMHO YaMGate for points although
both do basically the same job.
Credits
-------
The idea was inspired by Mat Bettinsons Shovel-Gate, Paolo Carotenutos
FidoE-Mail and EMailGate by Nick Loman..
If you use this thing, tell me about it!
